Device Report

This Article Applies to:

  • Business Hub
  • Avast Business On-Premise Console

 

The Device report provides a complete list of devices accompanied by details such as devices' operating systems, subscriptions, and other relevant data.

Business Hub

To access the Device report in Business Hub, go to the Summaries section of the Reports page.

Via the Reports page, you can also set up schedules for your reports as well as automatic sharing of generated data with specified users. For more information, see Scheduling and Emailing Reports.

Device Overview

At the top of the Device report page, you will see the following information:

  • Total number of devices
  • Number of devices in danger
  • Number of devices inactive for 14+ days
  • Number of devices inactive for 30+ days

Device List

The Device list displays more detailed information about your devices. For each device on the list, you can see the following information:

  • Site name (at multi-tenant level)
  • Device alias/name
  • Group
  • Status
  • Policy
  • OS
  • IP address
  • Date added
  • Last seen (date and time)
  • Last Antivirus scan (date and time)
  • Last patch scan (date and time)
  • Last successful backup (date and time)
  • Subscription

You can also search for devices by name, site (at multi-tenant level), and IP address, and/or filter the generated list by:

  • Status: Not installed, In danger, Vulnerable, Safe
  • OS: Windows, Windows server, macOS

If needed, you can export the data via the download icon located in the upper right corner of the list. For more information on downloading the generated report, see Exporting Reports.

On-Premise Console

To access the Device report in On-Premise Console, go to the Devices tab of the Reports page.

Device Overview

Under the Threats tab, you will see the total number of devices added to your network during the time range you have defined, as well as the number of devices removed from the network.

The devices removed number refers to the number of times you uninstalled Antivirus from a device, while the devices added number refers to the number of devices you installed and activated Antivirus on. Instances of installed but not activated Antivirus will not be counted, and neither will those of reinstallations.
