Patch Management Reports

 

From the Patch Management section of the CloudCare console's Reports page, the following reports can be accessed:

• Missing Patches by Severity
• Patch Deployment Summary
• Patch Scan Summary

Note that all Patch Management reports are available only at customer level.

Also note that these reports will not display information for any macOS devices in the network since the Patch Management service is not available for these devices.

Missing Patches by Severity

This report displays two doughnut charts - one showing the volume of missing patches by severity, and the other showing the volume of missing critical patches by vendor.

It also provides a table containing the following information for each listed patch:

• Patch name
• Vendor
• Bulletin ID
• Severity
• Release date
• Missing count

All bulletin IDs are linked to the related patch information on the vendor's site.

The report can be configured to show information for the last week, month, or 3 months for all or only selected devices/device groups.

Patch Deployment Summary

This report displays two doughnut charts - one showing the volume of patch deployments by severity, and the other showing the volume of patch deployments by type (scheduled vs. manual).

It also provides a table containing the following information for each listed device:

• Device's name, policy, group, and OS
• Number of deployed patches
• Number of failed patches

The report can be configured to show information for the last week, month, or 3 months for all or only selected devices/device groups.

Patch Scan Summary

This report displays a table listing the following information for each listed device:

• Device's name, policy, group, and OS
• Number of missing patches
• Last patch scan date

The report can be configured to show information for the last week, month, or 3 months for all or only selected devices/device groups.
