'Page Cannot Be Displayed' Message
This Article Applies to:
- Avast Business CloudCare
When using Content Filtering, some web pages may show a “Page cannot be displayed” error instead of the typical Avast message.
Usual Block or Warning Message

If an end user attempts to access a site/domain that is blocked by Content Filtering, they will usually see a message from Avast explaining the site is blocked. These messages appear only when sites are not using SSL.
SSL site block message

If an end user attempts to access a blocked site/domain that is using SSL (in general, sites that begin with https:// are using this protocol), they will see a simple “Page cannot be displayed” message. This is because Avast cannot insert the usual block page into SSL-protected websites.
