Activating Subscriptions

IMPORTANT: The CloudCare console does not support opening multiple tabs in the same browser session. Please use multiple browsers or incognito mode instead.
CloudCare does not utilize activation codes the same way other Avast Business products do. Partners purchase subscriptions that they can then assign to their customers to use in their networks.
Partners can edit customers' Services from the Account tab. Select a customer from the Customer Drop-down Menu. Then navigate to the Account tab and click Services in the left-hand navigation pane. Direct users can edit their own Services from the Account tab. Navigate to the Account tab, then click Services in the left-hand navigation pane.
For each service, you will be able to view the subscription type, and for all except Cloud Backup you can change the type by clicking Convert Subscription. You will also see the applied discount, if any, and the number of seats available under the subscription. If you make any changes in this section, be sure to click Save.
Endpoint Protection Services (Antivirus and Patch Management)
Antivirus: You can choose whether to offer the customer a 30-day trial on the initial installation of the product, and/or to limit the number of allowed activations for the customer to a number you specify. Lastly, you can discontinue the Antivirus service to the customer by clicking Discontinue Service. This will uninstall the service from their devices.
Patch Management: You can choose what type of subscription to offer the customer. Lastly, you can discontinue the Patch Management service to the customer by clicking Discontinue Service.
Antivirus: You can choose whether to use a 30-day trial on the initial installation of the product, and/or to limit the number of allowed activations for your network to a number you specify. Lastly, you can discontinue the Antivirus service to the customer by clicking Discontinue Service. This will uninstall the service from your devices.
Patch Management: You can choose what type of subscription to use. Lastly, you can discontinue the Patch Management service by clicking Discontinue Service.
Network Security Services (Secure Internet Gateway and Content Filtering)
Secure Internet Gateway: You can request the service if you have not already, and select the subscription type.
Content Filtering: You can choose whether to offer the customer a 30-day trial on the initial installation of the product, and/or to limit the number of allowed activations for the customer to a number you specify. Lastly, you can discontinue the Content Filtering service to the customer by clicking Discontinue Service. This will uninstall the service from their devices, prevent it from being installed on additional devices, and prevent future renewals of the service.
Secure Internet Gateway: You can request the service if you have not already, and select the subscription type.
Data Protection Services (Cloud Backup)
You can view and increase the amount of storage the customer has access to in GB, and can enable auto-upgrade of the customer's Cloud Backup plan in 25GP increments. You can set the password for the Cloud Backup client.
You can also choose to send the customer an email notification when their usage approaches or exceeds the selected plan.
Lastly, you can discontinue the Cloud Backup service to the customer by clicking Discontinue Service. This will uninstall the service from their devices, prevent it from being installed on additional devices, and prevent future renewals of the service.
