Content Filtering Blocking Social Network URL Embeds

 

When the social networking categories have specifically been blocked within the Content Filtering settings, some embedded buttons on webpages (e.g. Facebook's Like button) may be blocked and will not display correctly on the page.

To resolve this problem please do the following:

1. Navigate to Policies > Content Filtering > Exceptions
2. Add each of the following URLs under the Allowed Web Sites section:
   • api.facebook.com
   • connect.facebook.net
   • facebook.com/plugins/like.php
   • graph.facebook.com
   • static.ak.facebook.com/connect/xd_arbiter.php
   • s-static.ak.facebook.com
   • xy.fbcdn.net
   • analytics.twitter.com
   • cdn.api.twitter.com
   • cdn.syndication.twimg.com
   • p.twitter.com platform.twitter.com
   • syndication.twitter.com
   • urls.api.twitter.com licdn.com

Click Save once complete to synchronize the change to all devices under that policy.
