The Business Hub's Cloud Backup service keeps your business data available and supports business continuity by protecting data on endpoint devices and servers with an automated backup process that is easy to deploy and manage from anywhere.
Premium Remote Control
Remote Control helps IT admins quickly and securely connect to a user’s device straight from the Hub to remotely access files, manage applications, and troubleshoot issues. This simple remote access tool helps increase efficiency by reducing on-site visits and the need to hire additional IT staff.

Legacy Products Upgrade Paths
The Small Business Solutions products replaced the purchase methods for Antivirus, Pro, and Pro Plus. Each level of Antivirus received a free upgrade to a Small Business Solutions tier (with the original subscription expiration date unchanged):
- Avast Business Antivirus was upgraded to Avast Essential Business Security (with Antivirus Pro components)
- Avast Business Antivirus Pro was upgraded to Avast Premium Business Security (with Antivirus Pro Plus components, including VPN)
- Avast Business Antivirus Pro Plus was upgraded to Avast Ultimate Business Security (with Antivirus Pro Plus components, including VPN and Patch Management)
- Devices using Patch Management are automatically switched to their respective available Patch Management seats included with Ultimate Business Security once the old Patch Management add-on subscription expires.
Activation codes for legacy products were also upgraded (new tiers of protection activated automatically).
FAQ
For the Avast Essential Business Security and Premium Business Security, the online management platform is optional. You can choose to install the solution on each device independently without management capabilities. However, our online management platform, the Avast Business Hub, allows you to manage all your devices from one place. It’s designed to provide robust reporting, alerting, device and policy management, network discovery, remote access and support tools, and more. It also offers additional services such as Patch Management and Cloud Backup, and enables you to manage all your Avast solutions from a single place.
For the Avast Ultimate Business Security, the online management platform is required as Patch Management is only available as a managed solution.
No, they are currently only available with our online management platform, the Avast Business Hub.
For partners using OMS, legacy SKUs will still be listed and are available for renewal. However, we strongly recommend upgrading to Small Business Solutions when possible because they provide more protection at a similar price point.
Yes, you can have separate subscriptions for different tiers (for example, for both Essential Business Security and Ultimate Business Security).
No. Mobile Security has been removed from all Small Business Solutions subscriptions due to low adoption, and the mobile devices with the subscriptions activated are reverted to the free version. Therefore, all related Mobile Protection management options are no longer available in the Hub.
