Console Logs

This Article Applies to:

If the Avast or Support Tool fails, or does not gather all of the logs requested by Business Technical Support, you can manually gather the logs to send to Support.


Console - Client Connection Logs

  • Connection (debug logging must be enabled): C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\bcc.log
  • Sync/Registration: C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\bccavsvc.log
  • Remote Deployment: C:\ProgramData\Avast Software\Avast\log\bcdeploy.log

On-Premise Console Logs

  • Main Console: C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Management Console\console\log\main.log (+ yyyy-mm-dd-main-0.log)
  • Startup/Stopping: C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Management Console\console\log\startup.log
  • Setup: %temp%\Setup Log yyyy-mm-dd #xxx.txt
