Configuring Cache Clearance

When you are configuring the settings in your device policies, you can choose special options for clearing update files from the device.

In the policy you would like to edit, click the Service Settings tab. Then click Patch Management and expand the Other settings section.

You can choose to clear patch files on the local device to free up hard drive space for future patches. These files can be cleared:

  • Immediately after installation (default)
  • 7 days after installation
  • 30 days after installation
  • 60 days after installation
