Configuring Cache Clearance

IMPORTANT: The CloudCare console does not support opening multiple tabs in the same browser session. Please use multiple browsers or incognito mode instead.

 

Via the Patch Management settings of a policy, you can configure automatic removal of local patch files in order to free up the end devices' hard drive space for future patches.

To define when the patch cache will be cleared from end devices:

  1. Go to the Policies page (at partner level for master policies or customer level for customer policies)
  2. Select the desired policy from the left-hand pane
  3. Under Endpoint Protection, expand the Patch Management section
  4. Go to the Patch Settings tab
  5. Under Clear local patch cache, choose one of the following options:
    • Immediately after patch deployment
    • 7 days after installation
    • 30 days after installation
    • 60 days after installation
