Cloud Backup SQL Error

Some customers have reported the following issue when configuring Avast Business CloudCare Cloud Backup. An error occurs stating there is a SQL Logic Error or Missing Database. Cloud Backup cannot be configured when this error occurs.

Reason for Error

This issue is a SQLite error related to SStorage.exe when trying to open the local backup client.

Resolution

  1. Delete C:\ProgramData\Avast Business Cloud Backup\SStorage.db
  2. Reopen the Cloud Backup client, and it should work without the error message
