Avast Business Hub Release Notes 2026

Avast Business Hub and AVG Business Cloud Console run the same versions and release in the same cycle, usually every two weeks. Changes to the release cycle can be due to availability, planning, company shutdowns, etc.

For services offered inside the Hub such as Patch Management, Cloud Backup, USB Protection, and PRC, there is no specific release cycle. However, we attempt to release alongside the console releases (if there are some issues, hotfixes will be released outside of the usual two-week cycle). The same applies to the other backend services like DM, Alerts, etc.

This article provides information on the Business Hub 2026 releases and is updated throughout the year.

March 2026

Console Version 8.103 (March 25)

Release Summary

This release includes a series of minor improvements and general bug fixes aimed at enhancing the overall user experience. We’re continuously working to ensure the software remains reliable, secure, and efficient.

Important Changes

  • We are ending support for certain older operating systems. This means that we will no longer test our products on these operating systems, and we will not investigate or fix issues that are reported on these operating systems.
    However, end of support does not mean our products will stop working on these systems. They may continue to run, but we can no longer guarantee compatibility or provide troubleshooting assistance. For the best and most secure experience, we recommend upgrading to a currently supported operating system.
    Affected OS: Windows 8/8.1 and older, Windows Small Business Server 2011, Windows Server 2008 R2 and older, macOS 12.x (Monterey) and older.

New Features & Enhancements

  • Implemented automatic cleanup of user invitations older than 30 days to reduce clutter and security exposure from stale invites.
  • Improved Cloud Backup reinstall and reactivation flows.
  • Various minor improvements.

Resolved Issues

  • Normalized certain wording across locales to avoid mixed or confusing labels in the UI.
  • Other minor fixes.

February 2026

Console Version 8.102 (February 25)

Release Summary

For multi-tenant Business Hub accounts, we’ve introduced a limit on the number of sites/customers to help ensure a consistent and reliable experience. You can now create up to 500 sites or customers within a single Business Hub account. There is no limit to the number of devices.

If you need to manage more than 500 sites or customers, please create an additional Business Hub account.

If you are a partner using the Flexible Billing model, please contact Support or your account manager, who will be happy to assist you.

A series of minor improvements and general bug fixes have been added as well, aimed at enhancing the overall user experience. We’re continuously working to ensure the software remains reliable, secure, and efficient.
