Configuring Component-Specific Exclusions

This Article Applies to:

  • Business Hub
  • Avast Business On-Premise Console

Many of the customizable components available in Avast Business Antivirus have a specific tab for exclusions that will only affect that particular component. If you would like to create exclusions for Antivirus as a whole, see Configuring Standard Antivirus Exclusions. The process of creating exclusions is similar for most Shields and components. See Wildcards for information on acceptable wildcard characters.

Any exclusions specified here will not be scanned by Behavior Shield when devices are running programs and processes. Network share is supported as long as you are using the absolute path to the folder/file.
