Password Protection is a component that helps secure your browser-stored passwords against theft by preventing applications and malware from viewing, changing, or deleting them. It supports passwords stored in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Edge, and Avast Secure Browser.

Access configuration options on the Privacy > Password Protection tab in Settings.

You can choose what happens when an unknown application attempts to access browser-stored passwords, between the following options:

Ask me to allow or block it
Silently block the app

You can also configure automatically blocked or allowed applications using the Blocked & Allowed apps settings on the General tab.
